So how does this PC compare to other pre built PC's and DIY PC's?

    Thanks for sharing.

Compared to other pre built PC's it would be a steal. Add in the cost of the Rift and your sitting at roughly $1800. You would then have a PC more powerful than any of the Oculus ready bundles.

As for DIY it will be more expensive by atleast $100 if going with the cheapest parts. But for me DIY is about getting what I want not what is the cheapest. I will spec out a couple of builds when I get off work later.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/GYJ2qs $1322 before rebates and trying to stay cheap in picking my parts.

    http://pcpartpicker.com/p/dnHLWZ $2000 better components.
