Oculus today announced a new exclusive, Wilson’s Heart, a first-person psychological thriller slated to arrive on Oculus Home in 2017. The game uses Oculus Touch controller so you can examine clues and manipulate in-game objects naturally.

It’s a day before E3 officially starts, but the announcements are already rolling out with Oculus next Touch exclusive, a project developed by Twisted Pixel and published by Oculus Studios.

In Wilson’s Heart you assume the role of hospital patient Robert Wilson, voice acted by RoboCop’s (1987) Peter Weller, who wakes up to discover that his heart has been replaced with ‘a mysterious device’. With its unique black-and-white style, the character driven story looks to be ripped straight from an episode of The Twilight Zone (1959-1964) or Night of the Living Dead (1968).

Rosario Dawnson, known for her work in the Sin City and Clerks franchises, joins Alfred Molina, known for reprising the role of Doc Ock in Spiderman 2 (2004) and much more.

Once a property of Microsoft Studios, Twisted Pixel but has since returned to the status of independent company last fall. The studio is best known for their games LocoCycle (2013), a racing game for Xbox One and Xbox 360, and The Gunstringer (2011), a third-person shooter designed for use with the Xbox 360 Kinect. Wilson’s Heart is the studios first foray into VR development.
