When going through the build process choose an i5 or better CPU, GTX970 or greater GPU, minimum 8gb of RAM

    Oculus Rift recommended specs:
    Note regarding USB 3.0 compatibility:
If your going with a pre-built PC make sure their is extra room to add a pci to usb 3.0 card.

Their is a possibility the USB 3.0 controllers wont be compatible. This is widespread according to Reddit and Oculus.
If your needing more USB3.0 ports this one is compatible according to Oculus.

Is there any good laptops out there that work well with external graphic cards, i'm going to start going the laptop route, seem like a better investment now, cause my only hang-ups with laptops were it's graphics, now this seems to be an issue of the past. I don't want to go the $1900 alienware route but that seems like the only option, but they've got some bull gimmicky not "universal" hardware for their externals GPUS

the new mouse senors on kickstarter look amazing also, i may just start using that also, these expensive mice are really terrible investments also, they always friggin break

seen this just the other day, i was like WoW baby

I really have no clue but I did some searching. PCWorld has a tutorial on adding an external graphics card to a laptop. Notebookreview has a lengthy thread about the subject.
